Atlas Diagnostic is a one-time knowledge structure diagnostic designed for security-first organizations. This page explains exactly how data is handled during an early access diagnostic.
Application data vs diagnostic data
Atlas Diagnostic distinguishes clearly between two types of data:
Application data
Information submitted through the waitlist form, including work email, role, company size, selected systems, and problem descriptions.
Application data is used only to:
- Review early access applications
- Communicate with applicants
- Prioritize qualified teams
Application data may be stored securely in internal systems for operational purposes.
Diagnostic data
Metadata files or structural information uploaded solely for generating a one-time diagnostic report.
Diagnostic data:
- Is processed only for the requested diagnostic
- Is not stored in internal tools or CRMs
- Is never used for analytics or training
- Is automatically deleted within 72 hours
What diagnostic data is not used for
Diagnostic data is never used for:
- Product analytics
- User profiling
- Advertising or marketing
- Model training or fine-tuning
- Long-term storage or backups
Once the diagnostic process is complete, all uploaded data is permanently deleted.
Data we collect
We collect only the following information:
- Contact details submitted via the waitlist form
- Organization-level metadata exported by the customer
- Diagnostic configuration information
We do not collect personal document content.

- Document body text
- Page content
- Comments
- Attachments
- Images or files
- Chat transcripts
- Knowledge base text
How data is used
Data is used solely to:
- Analyze documentation structure
- Identify ownership and lifecycle gaps
- Assess permission exposure risk
- Generate a one-time diagnostic report
Data is never used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
AI model usage
Atlas Diagnostic does not train AI models using customer data.
AI models are used only to assist in generating narrative summaries from diagnostic metrics.
Customer data is never used to improve or fine-tune models.
Data retention
- Uploaded metadata auto-deletes within 72 hours
- Diagnostic results are stored only as aggregated metrics
- Customers may request immediate deletion at any time
- No long-term storage is maintained
Security practices
- Encrypted data transfer (TLS)
- Limited-access processing environment
- No third-party data sharing
- No persistent document storage
Summary
Atlas Diagnostic is designed around strict data boundaries.
Application data and diagnostic data are handled separately, stored separately, and governed by different retention rules.
At no point is document content accessed, stored, or retained.
